Continuing the success and excitement from the State Society of Iowa's 2009 Inaugural Party, we are again hosting an event to commemorate the prominent role the State of Iowa plays in selecting our nation's presidential candidates through the Iowa Caucuses. The First in the Nation Celebration will take place in conjunction with the 57th Inauguration on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the historic National Museum of Women in the Arts just a few blocks from the White House. We are hosting this event to bring together Iowans residing in D.C., those traveling from Iowa to D.C., and all other friends of our great state.
The First in the Nation Celebration will feature entertainment from Iowa and a unique menu of hors d'oeuvres and desserts that take a twist on traditional Iowa cuisine. Tickets to the event also will include an open bar. VIP tickets to the event will include access to a special Speakeasy Bar hosted by the folks from Iowa's own Templeton Rye.
Update: We will be opening doors at 7pm to accomodate the large crowds. The VIP bar will also open at 7pm, but the remaining bars will open at 7:30pm as scheduled.
Door tickets are available for $95. Check or Credit Card accepted
Sorry no ticket refunds are available
Our Inauguration event in 2009 sold out, so please don't wait to purchase your tickets! This event is hosted by the State Society of Iowa in conjunction with the National Conference of State Societies.
